KEVIN EASTMAN

Co-Creator Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and currently spearheading New York Times Best Seller: The Last Ronin and Shellebrating the 40thAnniversary of the publication of TMNT Issue One!

-----

Born in Portland, Maine in 1962 Kevin Eastman began drawing at a very young age. In 1982, he met Peter Laird and together they formed Mirage Studios. Less than a year later in the middle of a late night drawing session, Eastman doodled a new character he dubbed a “Ninja Turtle” to make Laird laugh—several sillier sketches and a final drawing of four characters later “Eastman and Laird’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” had officially entered the universe!

Self published in May of 1984 the first issue sold out of its 3000 copies overnight and quickly became a fan favorite. Catching the eye of Merchandising Agents and Hollywood Producers, Eastman and Laird maintained full control of their creations while guiding them through Toy Licensing, TV Series adaptation, as well as Feature Films, and by 1989 the TMNT’s were number one in all three categories.

In 2017/18 Kevin launched his first ever Kickstarter that was fully funded for his new project Drawing Blood Comic and the Radically Rearranged Ronin Ragdolls.

In 2020 Kevin launched The Last Ronin. An epic like you’ve never seen before. It continued on to become the TMNT event of the decade and hit the charts as the Number 1 comic publication in the USA. The series continues with the launch of The Lost Years in early 2023.

2024 marks the 40th Anniversary of TMNT and we are thrilled to Shellabrate with all the AWESOME FANS!

BILLY WEST

Futurama, Doug, Ren & Stimpy, Disenchantment, Space Jam, and many more!

-----

Billy West is best known for his work on Ren & Stimpy, Futurama and Looney Toons. West has a career in radio and television that began in the 1980’s when he did comedic impersonations for Charles Laquidara’s Big Mattress morning show on Boston’s WBCN FM radio network. By the mid-90s, he had moved to doing impersonations of Cincinnati Reds owner Marge Schott on The Howard Stern Show, giving him greater exposure. From there, West became involved with the Nickelodeon shows Doug and Ren & Stimpy. Portraying the title characters on both shows, Billy West saw his voiceover work reach an even larger, yet younger audience.

This led to Warner Bros. hiring him for the film Space Jam in 1996. Featuring Chicago Bulls legend Michael Jordan and the cast of Looney Tunes, West voiced Bugs Bunny and Elmer Fudd, two characters whom he has sporadically voiced throughout the next decade. He is also known for his portrayal of Philip J. Fry on the cartoon Futurama, which began in 1999 and has continued on through a number of changes through 2012 and currently airs on Comedy Central. In addition he is also the voice of the iconic Red M&M.
